thought for the day

Never regret your mistakes. There was a point when you thought something you now think of as a mistake was the right thing to do. And you can't change that. But you can change your future, so focus on that. The only thing you should regret is allowing your past memories to control your ambitions.

Just another Sunday

Yesterday was the most incredible day. The weather was perfect, the ocean looked like a mirror, perfect company and games with jet ski's.

Herman and I went on my cousin's yacht with him and his girlfriend to Clifton where we spent the day swimming in icy water, drinking wine and laughing the day away. On the way back to the Waterfront, we came across a few jet ski'ers and made some waves for them to play in. It was great fun and Herman took beautiful pictures. I will post the link as soon as he has uploaded the pics.

Have a wonderful week!

Did you know?

Did you know one million plastic bags are used every minute of the day and almost three millions tonnes of plastic are used to bottle water globally each year? Would it surprise you that 80% of all marine debris is plastic? In some areas of the ocean, plastic outweighs plankton 6:1.

My cousin's last single night!

My cousin's hen night and bachelorette weekend was this weekend and boy was it wild and fun.

Her kitchen tea was held at the clubhouse in their estate and about 31 ladies attended the event. Everybody had to bring their favourite recipe and something for the kitchen cupboard as entrance fee. Every gift had a baby picture on it that my cousin had to guess who the present was from. For each one that she didn't get right she had a forfeit to perform. She had to either taste a few nasty things and tell us what it was (blind folded off course), or she had to smell a few herbs (that she got spot on), she had to answer questions about Laurie, the hubby to be and she had to play charades. It was all a great and very successful kitchen tea and i think everybody really enjoyed it.

Afterwards some of the girls went to my aunt's house for a few glasses of champers and a swim. We had dinner and then got ready for the big night out.

At about 8h30 a limo picked us up from her house and took us to Hooters. The limo was amazing! We had such a great time and another bottle of champs in the limo. We dressed Estelle up as a nurse with a cow bell around her neck. Great fun :)

After Hooters we went to Billy the Bums and danced into the early hours of the morning. Best night ever!
